  2. Oromia Credit and Saving Share Company have secured a budget for the procurement of Construction of a 3B+G+7 High-Density Mixed Residence Building Project found at Kirkos Sub City, Africa Avenue Bole road. 
  3. Oromia Credit and Saving Share Company now invite wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders who are interested and capable to allocate their sufficient resource for Construction of 3B+G+7 High-Density Mixed Residence Building Project found at Kirkos Sub City, Africa Avenue Bole road. 
  4. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open international tendering procedures contained in the public procurement proclamation of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders. 
  5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the address stated below. 
  6. The bidders shall submit two waxed and sealed bidding documents; these two documents have (one original and one copy) for each technical and financial document. The copy should be a photocopy of the original bid document and must be sealed and marked in the same manner as the original bid document, the bid security must be wax sealed and signed separately.

The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Ethiopian Maritime Affairs Authority has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Ethiopia Trade Logistics Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction of Modjo Dry Port Expansion and Upgrading of Hub Facilities 

The Ethiopian Maritime Affairs Authority now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Construction of Modjo Dry Port Expansion and Upgrading of Hub Facilities. The Works mainly include construction of buildings, warehouses, concrete works, road and installation of power cables, water supply lines sewerage systems, etc. A 7.5% of margin of preference will be applied and Bidding Documents require bidders to have specific experience which includes the following: 

  • Construction cash flow requirements estimated as USD $ 13 Million;
  • Minimum average annual construction turnover of US$ 88 Million over the past 5 years,
  • Specific Construction & Contract Management Experience of Two (2) contracts, each of minimum value US$ 70 Million, or One (1) contract, with minimum value US$ 140 Million during the last 7 years;

 The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Second Urban Water Supply and Sanitation and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract Procurement for the Construction of l76 Public and communal Latrines in different locations of Addis Ababa and the surrounding  water supply catchment areas of the city. 

The Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority, Water and Sanitation Infrastructure Development Division (AAWSA-WSIDD) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders Procurement for the Construction of 176 Public and Communal Latrines in different locations of Addis Ababa and the surrounding water supply catchments of the city. The Bidder shall furnish documentary evidence to demonstrate that it meets the following experience requirement(s): (i) Must have successfully completed at least one (1) contract having a value of ETB 11,000,000 (Eleven Million Birr) Per Each lot, with a similar size, nature and complexity during the last 3 (Three Years) supported with the names of the clients, types and value of the contract, (ii) The bidder shall demonstrate that it has access to, or has available liquid assets, unencumbered real assets, lines of credit and other financial means (independent of any contractual advance payment) sufficient to meet the cash flow requirement of ETB 2,750,000 (ETB Two Million Seven Hundred Fifty Birr) Per each lot, (iii) The audited Financial Statement or, other financial statement acceptable to the Employer for the last three Years shall be submitted and must demonstrate the current soundness of the bidder’s financial position and indicate its prospective long term profitability, and (iv) Minimum Average Annual Turnover of ETB 20,625,060 (USD Twenty Million Six Hundred Twenty Five Thousand» Per each lot calculated as average of total certified payments received for contracts in Progress and/or completed within the last three years. Margin of preference shall not be applied for the bidders. . 

Bidding will be conducted throughtheN ational Competitive Biddingprocedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines.Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services Under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers ,January 2011,Revised July 2014 (‘(procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict ofinterest. 

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority, Water and Sanitation Infrastructure Division,Procurement Department, and inspect the bidding documents from 8:30 am -12:30 pm in the morning and 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm in the afternoon at the address given below . 

A complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 500.00 (Five Hundred Ethiopian Birr). The method of payment will be direct cash payment to counter cashier at the Water and Sanitation Infrastructure Division office. 

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 06 October 2020, 2:00 PM. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on 06 October 2020 at 2:30 PM All bids must be accompanied by Security of ETB 30,000 (Thirty Thousand Birr) /Per Lot in the form of CPO or Bank Guarantee that is Valid for at least 148 days.

  1.  The ECWC has allocated sufficient funds required for the procurement of works and related services here in under prescribed in number 2.
  2. Description of Works: Sub-contracting of Intake Tower & Draw off culvert works for megech dam and irrigation project located and situated in the Amhara National Regional State at a distance of 714 km from Addis Ababa.
  3. Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation is, therefore inviting suitable qualified bidders to submit sealed bids for the prescribed here in above designated in #2.
  4. All interested national and international bidders and have proven professional capabilities in the design; and installation of intake tower (of similar) and/or related types of assignment are eligible and invited to participate to the bid.
  5.  Interested bidders shall submit the following evidence;
    • a. In the case of Ethiopian bidders, Certificate of Registration from Ministry of Construction with Category Water Works Construction Contractor Grade 1 Building Works Contractor (BC) Grade 1 renewed for 2012 E.C. and other appropriate documentary evidences demonstrating the bidder’s compliance, which shall include:
    • i. Trading License renewed for 2012 EC; and
    • ii. Tax Clearance Certificate, which states that the bidder can participate in any public tender, valid at bidding date and VAT Registration Certificate, and
    • iii. Registration as supplier in the list of the mandated public body, i.e. Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency (PPPAA).
    • b. In case of bidders other than Ethiopians, Business Organization Registration Certificate or Trade License issued by the country of establishment
  6.  Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Foreign Procurement Team of ECWC at Old Building Block No. 1 and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 8:30 A. M. to 12:30 P. M. and 1:30 P. M. to 5:30 P. M. From Monday to Thursday and 8:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. and 1:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. on Fridays and 8:30 A. M. to 12:30 P. M on Saturdays.
  7. A complete set of bidding document prepared in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application and in furnishing eligible document indicated in No. 5 of the notice to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Birr 500.00 (Five Hundred) birr effective as of this invitation notice is published on the Ethiopian Herald Newspaper.   8.  Bidders shall submit two envelopes, “Qualification Application & Bid Security” in one envelope and “Financial Bid” and other documents specified in the bid document separately in another envelope and should be sealed in an outer envelope and deposit it in the Tender Box available in the Procurement Department of the Corporation, Old Building Block No. 1 on or before September 29, 2020 at 10:00 AM.
  9.  Evaluation is to be carried out in two stages first Qualification Application and next Financial Bids of qualified bidders next.

M at ECWC, Procurement Department Conference Room in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend on the Bid opening date. በመሆኑም በጨረታው ለመሳተፍ የሚችሉ ተጫራቾች፡

  1. ህጋዊ የንግድ ፈቃድ ያላቸው ሆነው የዘመኑን ግብር የከፈሉ የ2012 ዓ.ም. የታደሰ የንግድ ፈቃድ እና የምዝገባ ምስክር ሠርተፊኬት ያለው፤ ቫት ተመዝጋቢ የሆኑና የግብር ከፋይ ምዝገባ ሠርተፊኬት ማቅረብ የሚችሉ፣ ከኮንስትራክሽን ሚኒስቴር የታደሰ የብቃት ማረጋገጫ እንዲሁም ከገቢዎች ሚኒስቴር ክሊራንስ (የምስክር ወረቀት) ማቅረብ የሚችሉ መሆን አለባቸው፡፡
  2. በጨረታው ለመሳተፍ የሚፈልጉ ተጫራቾች የጨረታ ሰነዱን በዋናው መ/ቤት ኮርፖሬት ግዢና ንብረት አስተዳደር ቢሮ ቁጥር 110 በመቅረብ መውሰድ ይችላሉ፡፡
  3.  ተጫራቾች የጨረታ ማስከበሪያ ዋስትና (Bid bond) የጠቅላላ ዋጋውን 2% በባንክ የተረጋገጠ ቼክ (CPO) ወይም የኢንሹራንስ ዋስትና ወይም (un conditional bank guaranty) በድርጅቱ ስም ማስያዝ አለባቸው። የጨረታ ዋስትናው ለብቻው በአንድ ፖስታ ውስጥ ተደርጎ እና አድራሻ ተፅፎበት የድርጅቱ ማህተም ተደርጎበት መቅረብ አለበት፡፡ ለጨረታው የተሰጠ ዋጋ ለ 60 ቀናት የፀና መሆን ይኖርበታል፡፡
  4. ተጫራቾች አሸናፊ መሆናቸው እንደተገለጸላቸው ከ 10 ቀናት በኋላ የመልካም ሥራ አፈጻጸም ዋስትና  (Performance bond) የጠቅላላ ዋጋውን 10% በባንክ በተረጋገጠ ቼክ ወይም የኢንሹራንስ ዋስትና ወይም (un conditional bank guaranty) በማስያዝ ውል ይፈራረማሉ ::
  5. ተጫራቾች ከጨረታ ሰነዱ ጋር ተያይዞ በቀረበው ሰነድ መሰረት ቴክኒካል እና ፋይናንሻል በተለያዩ ፖስታ በማድረግ እንዲሁም ፋይናንሻል ሰነዱ ዋና እና ኮፒ በመለየት በታሸገ ኤንቨሎፕ አድርገው ለሎት 1 እስከ መስከረም 21 ቀን 2013 ዓ.ም. ለሎት 2 እስከ መስከረም 26 ቀን 2013 ዓ.ም ዘወትር በሥራ ሰዓት በተራ ቁጥር 2 በተጠቀሰው አድራሻ ለጨረታ በተዘጋጀው ሳጥን ውስጥ ማስገባት አለባቸው፡፡
  6.  የሁለቱም ፕሮጀክቶች የሚከፈቱበት ቀን ከላይ በሰንጠረዡ ላይ በተመለከተው መሠረት ሆኖ ሰዓቱ በተመሳሳይ ከጠዋቱ 4፡00 ሰዓት ታሽጎ ተጫራቾች ወይም ህጋዊ ወኪሎቻቸው በተገኙበት በዕለቱ 4፡30 ሰዓት ላይ በዋናው መ/ቤት የመሰብሰቢያ አዳራሽ ይከፈታል፡፡
  7. መ/ቤቱ የተሻለ መንገድ ካገኘ ጨረታውን በከፊልም ሆነ በሙሉ የመሰረዝ መብቱ የተጠበቀ ነው፡፡

  1. The Benishangul Gumuz Regional State, Mass Media Agency invites eligible contractors for the Construction of interior Acoustic Studio with Category of BC-5 OR GC-5 OR SC-5 and above who have registered with the relevant offices in Ethiopia and renewed their License for the year 2012 E.F. Y and have registered at the Ministry of Urban Development & Construction and who have all the required registration certificates.
  2. Our agency now invites domestic bidders to submit sealed bids for providing the necessary labor, material and equipment for the Construction of interior Acoustic Studio, in Assosa Town.
  3. Interested bidders shall submit the following evidence;

(a) Certificate of registration from relevant Ministry renewed for 2012 EFY with Category BC-5 OR GC-5 OR SC-5 and above and other appropriate documentary evidences demonstrating the bidder’s compliance, which shall include:

  • i. Renewed Trading license and tax Payer Registration
  • ii. Its tax clearance certificate, which states that the bidder can participate in any public tender and valid at bidding date, and VAT Registration Certificate.

  1. የዘመኑ የታደሰ ህጋዊ ንግድ ፈቃድ ያላቸው በተጠየቁት የግዥ አይነትና ዘርፍ የንግድ ፈቃድ ማቅረብ የሚችሉ፡፡ 
  2. የግብር ከፋይ መለያ ቁጥር /TIN/ ያላቸው 
  3. የግዥ መጠኑ ከብር 200.000.00 /ሁለት መቶ ሺህ ብር/ እና በላይ ከሆነ የተጨማሪ እሴት ታክስ /VAT/ከፋይነት የተመዘገቡ መሆናቸውን የሚያረጋግጥ የምስክር ወረቀት ማቅረብ የሚችል:: 
  4. በውሉ መሠረት ያሸነፈበትን እቃ ግዢ ኦርጅናል እቃዎች ማቅረብ የሚችል:: 
  5. ማስታወቂያ በአየር ላይ የሚቆይበት ጊዜ ለሴክተር መ/ቤቶች በመደበኛ በጀት የጽህፈት መሳሪያ፤ የጽዳት እቃ፤ የመኪና ጎማ ግዥ ማስታወቂያው አየር ላይ ከዋለበት ቀን ጀምሮ ለተከታታይ 15 ቀን በአልማ በጀት ግንባታ ማስታወቂያ አየር ላይ ከዋለበት ቀን ጀምሮ ለተከታታይ 21 ቀን እና በዋን ዋሽ በጀት ግንባታና ዕቃ ማስታወቂያ አየር ላይ ከዋለበት ቀን ጀምሮ ለተከታታይ 30 ቀናት እስከ 11፡30 የስራ ቀን ድረስ ብቻ ነው፡፡ 
  6. የጨረታውን ማስከበሪያ 1% በCPO ያስይዛሉ ወይም ገንዘቡን አስቀድሞ ገቢ በማድረግ ገቢ ያደረጉበትን ደረሰኝ ኮፒ ፖስታ ውስጥ በማድረግ ያቀርባሉ፡፡
  7. ተጫራቾች የጨረታውን ሰነድና መመሪያ ለእያንዳንዱ ለተጠየቀ ግዥ ሰነድ በማይመለስ ብር 50.00 /ሃምሳ ብር/ በመክፈል የተዘጋጀውን ዝርዝር ከሰኞ እስከ አርብ በስራ ሰአት ጨረታው አየር ላይ ከሚቆይበት እስከ ሚቆይበት መጨረሻ ቀን እስከ 11፡30 ሰዓት ድረስ ቢሮ ቁጥር 12 በመገኘት መግዛት ይችላሉ፡፡ 
  8. ተጫራቾች የጨረታው ሰነድ በጥንቃቄ በታሸገ ፖስታ ኦርጅናል እና ኮፒ በማለት ለሴክተር መ/ቤቶች በመደበኛ በጀት የጽህፈት መሳሪያ፤ የጽዳት እቃ፤ የመኪና ጎማ ግዥ በ16ኛው ቀን እና ለአልማ ግንባታ በ21ኛው ቀን እስከ 4፡00 ሰዓት ድረስ ለዋን ዋሽ ግንባታ እና እቃ በ31ኛው ቀን እስከ 4፡00 ሰዓት ድረስ ቢሮ ቁጥር 2 በተዘጋጀው የጨረታ ሳጥን ማስገባት ይኖርባቸዋል፡፡ 
  9. ጨረታው ለዋን ዋሽ በጀት እቃና ግንባታ በ31ኛው ቀን በ4፡00 ሰዓት ታሽጎ በዚሁ ቀን 4፡30 ሰዓት ይከፈታል፡፡ በመደበኛ በጀት የጽህፈት መሳሪያ፤ የጽዳት እቃ ፤የመኪና ጎማ ግዥ በ16ኛው ቀን በ4፡00 ሰዓት ታሽጎ በዚሁ ቀን 4፡30 ሰዓት ይከፈታል፤ ለአልማ በጀት ግንባታ በ21ኛው ቀን በ4፡00 ሰዓት ታሽጎ በዚሁ ቀን 4፡30 ሰዓት ተጫራቾች እራሳቸው ወይም ህጋዊ ወኪሎቻቸው በተገኙበት ቢሮ ቁጥር 12 ይከፈታል፡፡ ተጫራቾች ባይገኙም ፖስታውን ከፍተን የምናወዳድር መሆኑን ይታወቅ፡፡ 
  10. ጨረታው የሚከፈትበት ዕለት የስራ ቀን ካልሆነ ወይም የበዓል ቀን ከሆነ በሚቀጥለው የስራ ቀን ከላይ በተገለጸው በተመሳሳይ ሰዓት ታሽጎ የሚከፈት ይሆናል፡፡ 
  11. ተጫራቾች በጨረታ ሰነዱ ላይ ሙሉ አድራሻ፣ ማህተም፣ ፊርማ እና ሌሎች መረጃዎች አሟልተው ማቅረብ አለባቸው፡፡ 
  12. መ/ቤቱ የተሻለ ዘዴ ካገኘ ጨረታው ሙሉ በሙሉ ወይም በከፊል የመሰረዝ መብቱ በህግ የተጠበቀ ነው፡፡ 
  13. በጨረታው አሸናፊ ከሆኑ 10% የውል ማስከበሪያ CPO ወይም በባንክ ዋስትና ማስያዝ ይኖርባቸዋል፡፡

የጨረታ ማስታወቂያ 

የሀዲያ ዞን ብልፅግና ፓርቲ ጽ/ቤት ህንጻ ለማስገንባት የሥራ ተቋራጮችን አወዳድሮ ለማሰራት ይፈልጋል፡፡ 

በዚሁ መሠረት፡-

  1. ደረጃቸው BC/GC 5 እና ከዚያ በላይ የሆኑ ለዘመኑ የታደሰ የንግድ ሥራ ፈቃድ፣ የንግድ ምዝገባ ፈቃድ፣የከተማ ልማትና ኮንስትራክሽን ሚኒስትር ምዝገባ ምስክር ወረቀት፣ የተጨማሪ እሴት ታክስ ምዝገባ ወረቀት፣ የግብር ከፋይነት ምዝገባ ምስክር ወረቀት ማስረጃ ማቅረብ የሚችል የጨረታ ሰነዱን ከዞኑ ብልፅግና ፖርቲ ጽ/ቤት ግዥ/ን/አስተዳደር ማስታወቂያው ከወጣበት ጊዜ ጀምሮ እስከ 30ኛው ቀን ድረስ የማይመለስ ብር 300 (ሶስት መቶ ብር) በመክፈል ባለፈቃዱ ወይም ሕጋዊ ተወካዩ አንድ ኮፒ የሰነድ ማስረጃ በመያዝ መግዛት ይችላል። 
  2. ተጫራቾች የጨረታ ማስከበሪያ በዞኑ ብልፅግና ቅ/ጽ/ቤት ስም ብር 220,000 (ሁለት መቶ ሀያ ሺህ ብር) በባንክ የተረጋገጠ ሲፒኦ ወይም በሁኔታዎች ላይ ያልተመሰረተ የባንክ ዋስትና (unconditional Bank Guarantee Letter) ከፋይናንሻል ሰነድ ጋር በፖስታ በሰም አሽገውና ማህተም በማድረግ ፈርመው ማቅረብ አለባቸው። 
  3. ተጫራቾች ለፕሮጀከቱ አስፈላጊውን ዕቃና ሠራተኛ አቅርበው ሥራውን የሚሠሩበትን የፋይናንሻል ኘሮፖዛል አንድ ኦርጂናል፣ ሁለት ፎቶግራፊክ ኮፒ እና የጨረታ ማስከበሪያ ሰነዶችን ለየብቻ በሰም በታሸገ ፖስታ በማድረግ እንዲሁም አራቱንም ሰነዶች በሌላ አንድ ማጠቃለያ ፖስታ በሰም አሽጐና የኘሮጀክቱን ስም ጠቅሶ እና የቴክኒካል ኘሮፖዛል አንድ ኦርጂናል፣ ሁለት ፎቶግራፊክ ኮፒ ሰነዶች እንዲሁም ኦርጂናል ቴክኒካል ሀሳብ የያዘ ሰነድ(Bidder Certification of Compliance) ለየብቻው በሰም በታሸገ ፖስታ በማድረግ እንዲሁም አራቱንም የቴክኒካል ሰነዶች በሌላ አንድ ማጠቃለያ ፖስታ በሰም አሽጐና ሁለቱንም አቃፊ ማለትም የቴክኒካል እንዲሁም የፋይናንሻል አቃፊ ፖስታዎች በአንድ ማጠቃለያ እናት ፖስታ በማድረግ የኘሮጀክቱን ስም ጠቅሶ ለዚሁ ተብሎ በተዘጋጀ ሣጥን ውስጥ ማስታወቂያው ከወጣበት ቀን ጀምሮ እስከ 31ኛው ተከታታይ ቀናት ከጠዋቱ 4፡00 ሰዓት ድረስ ብቻ ማስገባት ይኖርባቸዋል። በእጅ የተሞሉ ኮፒ ሰነዶች ማቅረብ ከጨረታው ውድድር ውጭ ያደርጋል፡፡ የአገልግሎት ዋጋው በሰነዱ ላይ በተዘጋጀው ቦታ በአሃዝና በፊደል መሞላት ይኖርባቸዋል፡፡ የቴክኒካል ሃሣብ የያዘ ሰነድ (Bidder Certification of Compliance) በየመጠይቁ ባዶ ቦታዎች ተሞልቶ፣ተፈርሞና ታሽጐ መመለስ አለበት፡፡ የቴክኒካል ሃሣብ የያዘውን ሰነድ (Bidder Certification of Compliance) ያለመመለስ ከውድድር ውጭ ያደርጋል፡፡ 
  4. ጨረታው በ31ኛው ቀን በ4፡30 ሰዓት ተጫራቾች ወይም ሕጋዊ ወኪሎቻቸው በተገኙበት በዞኑ ብልፅግና ፖርቲ ጽ/ቤት ግዥ/ን/አስተዳደር የመሰብሰቢያ አዳራሽ ይከፈታል፡፡ 31ኛው ቀን የሥራ ቀን ካልሆነ በሚቀጥለው የሥራ ቀን ይሆናል። አሰሪው መ/ቤት የተሻለ ዘዴ ካገኘ ጨረታውን በሙሉም ሆነ በከፊል የመሰረዝ መብቱ የተጠበቀ ነው፡፡ 

ማሳሰቢያ፡-ከዚህ በፊት በዞኑ ውስጥ ውል ገብተው የግንባታ ሥራ እየሠሩ በውል ጊዜ ያለበቂ ምክንያት ያላጠናቀቁ የሥራ ተቋራጮች ጨረታው ላይ መሳተፍ አይችሉም፡፡ 

  • ማንኛውም ተጫራች ከወቅቱ ከገበያ ዋጋ በታች ያቀረበ እንደሆነ አሰሪው መ/ቤት ለሥራው ውል ለመግባት አይገደድም፡፡ 
  • ለተጨማሪ ማብራሪያ በስልክ ቁጥር፡- 046 555 290 ደውሎ መጠየቅ ይቻላል፡፡

  • c) Lot-3 Construction works of Elders’ Retirement Center of Three (3) Block 2B+G+2 Dormitory Building Project 

2) The projects are located in Addis Ababa City, Yeka Sub-city around Ayat site (for Yeka- Ayat market center Building Project), Akaki Kality Sub-city around Koye feche site (for Akaki market center Building Project) And Akaki Kality Sub-city (for Elders’ Retirement Center Building Project) 

3) A preliminary Architectural design of the two market center Building Project and the complete design works of the Elders’ Retirement Center has already been 9 done by the Engineer. Accordingly, the works and services under these contracts consist of the development of final Architectural design in strict conformity with the preliminary design and municipality regulation, preparation of detailed engineering designs and construction of these two market center Building Projects, and construction of the Elders’ Retirement Center Building Project. The preliminary architectural design of the two market center, the complete design works of the Elders’ Retirement Center and other required documentation is attached with a complete set of bid document 

4) The Addis Ababa City Administration of Construction Bureau now invites eligible bidders to submit sealed bids for procurement of providing the necessary labor, material and machinery for the Design and Build works of the two-market center building project and for the construction works of Elders’ Retirement Center Building project. 

5) A complete set of Bidding Document can be purchased by interested eligible Bidders from Addis Ababa City Administration of Construction Bureau, 86 floor room number 801, of Engineering procurement directorate starting from the date of issuance or announcement of this Bid on the Ethiopian Herald newspaper upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 500.00 (Five Hundred ETB) by the method of payment shall be in cash and The tender remains to be floated for forty-five 45 calendar days starting from the date of issuance or announcement of this Bid on newspaper. 

6) Interested eligible bidders should have to fulfill the government guidelines and shall submit the following legal documentary evidences that demonstrating the bidder’s compliance; 

a) In the case of domestic/Locally Registered bidders; 

i. Relevant professional practice certificates of Registration from Ministry of Construction with Category GC-1 or BC-1, Renewed for 2012/13EFY, 

ii. Valid Trade License renewed for 2012/13 EFY, 

iii. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate, which indicates that the bidder can participate in any public tender & it must be valid at the deadline of bid submission date, 

iv. VAT Registration Certificate, 

V. Suppliers registration certificate, having been registered in the Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency’s (PPPAA) Suppliers List, 

b) In case of foreign bidders or bidders other than those registered locally, 

i. Appropriately submit Valid business organization registration certificate or trade license issued by the country of establishment, shall be authenticated by foreign affairs and Ethiopian embassy of foreign and/or Document Authentication and Registration Office (DARA)), and the equivalency of Relevant professional practice certificates for – Category GC-1 or BC-1 shall be approved by Ministry of Construction and, renewed for 2012/13 EFY, 

ii. Valid Tax Clearance certificate issued from the Tax Authority (Inland Revenue Authority) which allows the bidder to participate in public tenders at the deadline of bid submission date, only if the foreign bidder already has an ongoing or completed project in the Country, Ethiopia. 

  • 7) Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM & 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM local time on working days. 
  • 8) Bidders shall submit their Bid proposal in two separated envelopes; the first envelope should labeled as “Technical Bid Proposal and Bid Security” and the second envelope should labeled as “Financial Bid Proposal”, in which of each envelope contains one original (labeled as original) & two copies (Inbeled as copy) of bid proposals separately wax sealed, stamped and signed by Legally authorized body. 
  • 9) Evaluation is to be carried out in the Bid that is found to be substantially responsive to the professional, technical, and financial qualification requirements, technically compliant in relation to the technical specifications, and with the lowest price, 
  • 10) Bids must be delivered to the address shown below on 45th day from the date of the bid announcement of this Bid on newspaper and will be closed @3:30 AM local time. 
  • 11) Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 500,000.00 (Five Hundred Thousand ETB) in the form of unconditional Guarantee bank bid bond or Certified Cheque Payment Order (CPO) issued by or counter guaranteed by a renowned international Bank and it should be valid for 120 days from the latest deadline for the submission of bids.

  • 13) Late bids will be rejected. 
  • 14)No one is allowed to participating in more than one Lot of this Bid. 
  • 15) It is not allowed to participate in this bid for the one who has taken a construction Project from this Bureau (AACB) and that has not been successfully completed 75% of the project cost. 
  • 16) Partial bid is not allowed. 
  • 17) Partial award shall not be granted. 
  • 18)No one is allowed to duplicate or transfer the bidding document that one acquired to participate under this invitation. Legally authorized agents can collect the bidding documents for each principal they are representing.

The SNNPRS Pastoral and Special Support Affairs Coordination Bureau through the Government of Ethiopia has received a Loan from African Development Bank (AfDB) toward the cost of Livestock Market Infrastructures and it intends to apply part of funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for the Construction of Luqa Standard Primary Livestock Market Center Project at Bena Tsemay Woreda of South Omo Zone in the Region.
