5. Qualification criteria stated in the bid document should be respected and have to be addressed in a brief and clear way.

World Vision is implementing DFSA food security program in Daro Lebu woreda with a strategic goal of addressing the basic needs of children while ensuring food security of chronically food-insecure households. World Vision Ethiopia Daro Lebu Woreda DFSA Office seeks to pre-qualify potential contractors with relevant capabilities and experiences for the current fiscal year in the following categories.
All contractors in the Category of building and infrastructure construction (GC) grade 7 (seven) and above, registered licensed, renewed & valid for the year 2013 EC or 2012 with tax clearance (2020 GC). The contractor should be well -experienced and accomplished construction of a building or related structures (like schools, health institutions …etc)

1. A complete set of bid documents can be obtained from WAE’s office from November 12, 2020, to November 25, 2020, during working hours, 08:30 AM – 12:30 PM, and 01:30 PM – 05:00 PM.
2. Bids must be accompanied with renewed business and construction licenses and registration, TIN Registration Certificate, and have to submit these requirements/s.
3. Bidders participating for Lot I should have WWC/GC license Grade 6 and above
4. Bidders participating in Lot II should have an Electrical and Electromechanical license or GC license Grade 5 and above.
5. Bidders should have at least three years of similar experience and must have evidence of the successful completion of all works.
6. Bidders can participate for Lot I and II together, or the only Lot I or Lot II only.
7. Bidders should submit their offers in sealed envelopes to WAE’s office on or before November 26, 2020, until 01:30 PM and must be accompanied by a bid bond amounting to two (2%) of the offer in the form of a bank guarantee or CPO at least for three months from the date of bid opening.
Note: CPO must be attached to the original financial document.
8. Bid must be clearly marked by “bidders name, address, legal stamp, and Reference number Ref: WAE/CR/SOP/Mankusa/OB/2020/00061.
9. Bidders must submit the technical and financial documents separately. The technical and financial documents should have one original and one copy for each, clearly marked “ORIGINAL” and “COPY”. Each envelope shall be stamped and sealed. In the event of any discrepancy between them, the original will prevail.
10. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or representatives who prefer to attend at our office on November 26, 2020, at 02:00 PM.
