INVITATION TO BID
SNNPRWMEDB-BH/ Unicef/01/2013 E.C/NCB.
1.Water, Mines & Energy Development Bureau of SNNPRG hereby invites sealed bids from qualified and eligible bidders for drilling and construction of 6 boreholes in two lots at Wolayta and South Omo zone of SNNPR with UNICEF programme which has been stated as follows:

2. Bidders should have a business license valid for the current fiscal year, registration certificate for VAT, and work experience in deep boreholes drilling of similar nature and complexity in the last three years.
3. Bidders shall obtain bid documents upon payment of non-refundable birr 200.00 /two hundred birr/ from the Bureau, Room No. 102.
4. Bids should be accompanied by bid security amounting 150,000.00 /One Hundred fifty Thousand/ Birr for each Lot in an acceptable form of CPO or Bank Guarantee and shall remain valid for a period of 120 days after the date of bid opening
5. Bidders are invited to submit financial and technical proposals one original and three copies separately enclosed in a wax-sealed envelope to the Bureau on 21st calendar day at/ before 2:00 P.M of this announcement.
16. Bid will be opened in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives at 2:30 P.M on the same date at Hawassa. If the 21st day of the bid announcement lies on Ethiopian holiday or week end, the closing and opening day of the bid will be on the next working day at 2:00 P.M and 2:30 P.M respectively at the Bureau,
7. The Bureau reserves the right to reject all or parts of the bid.
