The Bale Zone Market Development Office has secured a budget from the National Regional State of Oromia for the construction of Robe Town Secondary livestock projects, in Bale Zone. Bidding is open to all eligible bidders having a construction license of GC-7/BC-6 and above renewed for 2013 E.C works and those currently registered with the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development, Oromia Construction Bureau and who have got TIN Number, VAT registration certificate, Supplier list Certificate and Tax clearance valid during Bid Period from Oromia Revenue Bureau or Federal Tax Authority.
Original and one not returnable copy of TIN and VAT certificate, Trade License, Tax Clearance Certificate, and PPA certificate must be supplied at hand during Bid.
Bidding documents can be purchased at Bale Zone Finance and Economic corporation Office, upon submission of a written application and a non-refundable fee of 400.00 (Four Hundred) Starting from the 1st day of announcement on newspaper up to 21 consecutive working days and closed on 22nd day at 9:00 am morning and opened at 9:30 am at the same days at Zonal Deputy Head, Administration office Bale Robe, Ethiopia( PO Box 14/80 Tel.+251-226650086/28, Fax +251-226651240). If the day lays on holiday it is closed and opened the next working day at the same time mentioned above. Bids shall be valid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after bid closing and must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of offered price in the form of the C.P.O or unconditional Bank Guarantee and must be addressed to Bale Zone Market Development Office.
Bidders required submitting bid documents in two envelopes containing the technical and financial proposals separately enclosed as follow: Technical proposals shall be marked “TECHNICAL ORIGINAL” & “TECHNICAL 2 COPY” in separate inner envelops and outer envelope “TECHNICAL PROPOSAL”. Financial Proposals shall be marked “FINANCIAL ORIGINAL & FINANCIAL 2 COPY” in separate inner envelopes and outer envelopes financial proposal. The winning Contractor is obliged to give by forming subcontracting a minimum of up to 20% part of the work to qualified Small & Micro Enterprises locally available or for those recommended by the local administration.,
The results of the technical evaluation, as well as the financial document opening date of the successful bidders, shall be subsequently notified with an internal notice board.
The financial documents of those contractors which shall not meet the must meet criteria in the technical Evaluation would not be opened.
Misplacing of documents would be a cause for rejection of the bid document.
Completion time for the construction work shall be 840 calendar days.

The Mizan Tepi University invites a) All Contractors Grade Seven (6) G.C or Grade Six (6) B.C. and above eligible bidders for the Construction of Package 05 work at Teaching Hospital Campus.

e) The committee assigned by the client will evaluate the qualification of the bidders on the basis of their responsiveness to the bid document, by applying the evaluation criterion, sub-criterion, and points assigned to the criterion in the data sheet. Each qualification document will be given a score point. A bidder will be rejected at this stage if it does not respond to the tender document or fails to achieve the minimum technical score indicated in the tender document.
f) Only financial offers of those bidders who score the minimum qualifying point, 70% (seventy percent) and above will be opened on the financial opening date, The financial opening of the bidders who have scored less than the minimum passing point (1.70%) will be returned unopened. The client shall address the financial opening date and time to the bidders.
g) Any attempt of submission forged (false) document and/or indication of financial offer on the qualification document shall result in rejection of the bidder.
h) The client shall not bear any responsibility for any displacement such as insertion of “QUALIFICATION DOCUMENT” in “THE FINANCIAL OFFER DOCUMENT” envelope or vise versa and the like, which result in rejection of the bidder.
8. Any contractor who has termination history with the Ministry Offices, Bureau, Zonal offices, and other regional sectors and with bad/poor performance (in a written form) in the past contractual period, the client has full right to reject those contractors during technical evaluation.
