Summary of the proposal:
Meta Abo Brewery Share Company is interested to engage potential suppliers that can supply/provide the below service/goods respectively in Ethiopia. The EOI and accompanying documents must be sent by email: MetaAboBreweryprocurement@diageo.com or received in a sealed envelope clearly labeled “Description of services, no later than 30/12/2021),
Interested entities shall express their intention of the following goods/services;
Construction Materials
Laboratory materials and consumables
Buta Gas
Electromechanical works
Borehole and water work
Construction works
Constructions Materials
Local spares MRO, RHS, SHS
Bearing and seal provider
Crane services,
Generator services and maintenance
Outputs:
By this invitation, it is the interest of the Meta Abo brewery to shortlist & consider financially capable and interested vendors for future possible business transaction.
Eligibility criteria
In order to be considered for further Appraisal
Vendors must:
Have adequate financial resource to perform the proposed contract
Comply with the required or proposed delivery or performance schedule;
Have a satisfactory past and current performance record
Have the necessary organization, experience, and accounting/operational controls and technical skills
Have the necessary production, construction and technical equipment and facilities
Qualify to receive an award under applicable Diageo regulations, code of business conduct (COBC) and other Diageo’s Polices.
Be able to work as to Diageo Payment term policy (60 days)
Have two client references available for contact during this process.
Declare any form of conflict of interest at the time of document submission if any.
Only short-listed entity shall be considered for the bid solicitation.

Valid Business license and Principal registration certificate that will allow them to work Sebeta and Addis Ababa
VAT registration certificate
TIN Certificate
Article & Memorandum of Association (for Registered Companies)

Interested entities must provide information indicating that they are qualified to supply the services and/or goods and provide the required items (brochure, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills/expertise in manpower, volume capacity, etc…). Entity(s) will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Diageo Polices.
Meta Abo Brewery S. C. is not bound to accept any quotation, nor award a contract and/or Purchase Order, nor be responsible for any costs associated with a Supplier’s preparation and submission of the Expression of interest (EOI), regardless of the outcome or the manner of conducting the selection process.
Meta Abo Brewery reserves the right to accept or reject any or all EOI without incurring any obligation to inform involved applicant/s regarding the progress and/or the results.
This Expression of Interest shall not be considered or interpreted as a commitment of Meta to enter into a supply contract for goods and/or services with your company including anyone of your agents and/or subsidiaries. Such decision will be taken at the full discretion of Meta regardless of fulfilling the requirements herein.
