Procurement Name: Construction of Fuel Station & Installation of 100m² Underground Tanks

Type of Work: The work shall include the construction of civil works and installation of the underground fuel tank at different locations in Addis Ababa.

  1. The Addis Ababa City Government Sheger Mass Transport Service Enterprise has funds within the Employer’s budget to be used for the procurement of work stated above.
  2. The Addis Ababa City Government Sheger Mass Transport Service Enterprise invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Procurement of work stated above. Interested eligible bidders are invited to submit bids for the construction of civil works and installation of underground fuel tanks as per the detail drawing and client’s requirement.
  3.  Interested bidders shall submit the following Qualification Document;
    • a) Eligible bidders shall have a valid Business The license in Construction Grade category of GC3 / BC3 or above renewed for at least 2012/13 E.C. and other appropriate documentary evidences demonstrating the bidder’s compliance which shall include:
      • i. Its Trading license renewed for at least 2012/13 E.C;
      • ii. Its tax clearance certificate valid at least at bid submission date that permits the bidder to participate in any public tender, and VAT registration certificate; and
      • iii. Registration as supplier in the list of the mandated public body, i.e. Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency (PPPAA)
    • b) Relevant professional practice certificates;
    • Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open National Competitive Bidding Procedure contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all bidders.
  4.  Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information at Sheger Mass Transport Service Enterprise, Procurement, and Property Administration Department, at Eyerus Building, 7th Floor, 22 street next to Meklit Building, Tel. +25111-8-33-3462/0118-33-40-76, Addis Ababa Ethiopia.
  5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders at the address mentioned on the item number 5 with a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr (ETB) 200.00 (Two Hundred Ethiopian Birr). The method of payment will be in Cash. The bid Proposal must be submitted in hard copy.
  6.  Each Bid shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 100,000.00 (One hundred Thousand Ethiopian Birr) in the form of CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee.
  7.  The bid along with the bid security must be delivered to the addresses mentioned in number 5 on or before 2:00 p.m., October 23, 2020 G.C/Tikmit 13/2013 E.C. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery. Technical Bid Documents will be opened at the same place, same date, and 2:30 P.m. (after-noon) in the presence of bidders or bidder’s representatives who chose to attend.

የባህሉና ቱሪዝም ሚኒስቴር 2013 በጀት ዓምት ሁለገብ አዳራሽና በተጨማሪ አገልግሎት የሚሰጥ ህንፃዎችን በአዲስ መልክ አስጠግኖ አገልግሎት ለማዋል በግንባታ ሥራ ላይ የተሰማሩ ተቋራጮችን ማሳደስ ይፈልጋል። 

በዚህ መሰረት፡- 

  1. GC/BC4 እና ከዚያ በላይ 
  2. ተጫራቾች የጨረታውን ሰነድ ይህ ማስታወቂያ በጋዜጣ ከወጣበት ቀን ጀምሮ ባሉት 21 ተከታታይ የሥራ ቀናት ውስጥ የማይመለስ ብር 100 (አንድ መቶ) በመክፈል መግዛት ይቻላል፡፡

  4. ጨረታው ማስታወቂያ ከወጣበት ቀን ጀምሮ በ22ኛው የሥራ ቀን ከጠዋቱ 4፡00 ሰዓት ተዘግቶ በ4፡15 ሰዓት ተጫራቾችወይም ሕጋዊ ወኪሎቻቸው በተገኙበት ይከፈታል። ዕለቱ በዓል ወይም ዝግ ከሆነ በቀጣዩ የሥራ ቀን ይከፈታል። 
  5. የግብርና ታክስ ክሊራንስ ማቅረብ የሚችል። 
  6. የሙያ ብቃት ማረጋገጫ ፈቃድ ያሳደሱ። 
  7. የታደሰ ንግድ ፈቃድ የተኢ.ት. ተመዝጋቢ የሆኑ የግብር ከፋይ መለያ ቁጥር ያላቸው በአቅራቢነት ተመዝግበው መመዝገባቸውን የሚገልፅ ሰነድ ማቅረብ የሚችሉ። 
  8. የVAT ተመዝጋቢ መሆን አለበት።

  10. የአትሌት ጥሩነሽ ዲባባ እትሌቲክስ ማሰልጠኛ ማእከል የተሻለ መንገድ ካገኘ ጨረታውን ሙሉ በሙሉ ወይም በከፊል የመሰረዝ መብቱ የተጠበቀ ነው::
  11. አንድ ተጫራች ሌሎች ሳቀረሱት ዋጋ ተንተርሶ ዋጋ ማቅረብ አይቻልም፡፡

Repi Soop & Detergent Plc is seeking proposals for engineering services for the design and construction of substructure civil works, design, supply & erection of steel structure for raw material warehouses in Repi Soap and Detergent Plc, factory compound located at Kara Kore. Services will include design and supply of the necessary, material, labor, equipment and execution of all the work for the ware houses. The offeror shall be a registered contractor of minimum grade 5 and above with previous related experience of steel structure ware house works and should present a business license valid for the current year and VAT registration certificate.

Bidders should strictly follow the following instruction.

  1. A completed set of documents purchased by interested bidders from the stated address and upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 200.00 /two hundred Birr/ starting Tuesday. September 30, 2020.
  2.  Bidders shall submit one original and one copy of Technical and financial proposals separately to the address below on or before October 15, 2020 at 2:00 PM and must be accompanied by Birr 50,000.00 (Fifty thousand birr) security bid bond. The bid security shall be in the form of Cashiers payment order (CPO), enclosed in a separate envelope & presented inside the Original bid document envelope.
  3. Bids will be opened in the presence of tender committee, on October 15, 2020 2:30 at Repi Soap and detergent Factory premises.

  1.  The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank for the implementation of Water Supply, Sanitation & Hygiene program(One WaSH National Program phase-II) in the country. The Water Development Commission (WDC) intends to apply part of the proceeds to cover eligible payments under the contract for construction of Civil Works, Supply and Installation of Pipes & Fittings, and Electromechanical Equipment’s of Sankura Multi Village Water Supply and Sanitation project in SNNPR, Silte Zone. WDC now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the abovementioned works. 
  2. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018″), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guideline. 
  3. Key Qualification Requirements are: Financial Capability: The Bidder shall demonstrate that it has access to, or has available, liquid assets, unencumbered real assets, lines of credit, and other financial means (independent of any contractual advance payment) sufficient to meet the construction cash flow requirements estimated as ETB 19,233,299.67 for the subject contract(s) net of the Bidder’s other commitments Average Annual Construction Turnover: Minimum average annual construction turnover of ETB 173,099,697.00 calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress and/or completed within the last 5 (five)years Specific Construction & Contract Management Experience: A minimum number of similar contracts specified below that have been satisfactorily and substantially completed as a prime contractor, joint venture member, management contractor or sub-contractor between 1st January 2015 and application submission deadline:(i) 1 (one)contract of minimum value of ETB 92,319,838.   4. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders from the stated address and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 600.00 Eth. Birr.
  5. Bids must be accompanied by 2 % bid security of the total bid amount in an acceptable form of bank CPO or bank guarantee and shall be placed in the Original Technical Proposal
  6. The technical and financial proposals have to be separately prepared and sealed with all necessary copies as indicated in the instruction to bidders and Bid datasheets.
  7. Copies of tender documents can be obtained from ardaita ATVET college with the following address on Addis Ababa college liaison office behind Getfam hotel in front of Addis Hiyot hospital between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM hours:
  8. Bids must be delivered to the above office before/on 31st day at 2:00 P.M. and will be opened on the same day at 2:30 P.M in the presence of Bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at Ardaita Agricultural Technical & Vocational Education Training College conference room.
