  3. ጨረታው የሚከናወነው በተራ ቁጥር 1 ላይ የተመለከተው በባ……… ሲሆን ፤ ተራ ቁጥር 2 ላይ የተመለከተው ደግሞ በትግራዊ ብሔራዊ ክልል፤ አክሱም ከተማ በሚገኘው በባንኩ አክሱም ቅርንጫፍ ነው::

URBAN INSTITUTIONAL AND INFRASTRUCTRE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (UTIDP)

  1. The Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of City Administration Projects, and the Negele Borena town Administration intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to eligible payments under the contract of Street Lighting
  2. Negele Borena Finance and Economic cooperative office now invited wax sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction and completion of the above project. Contract identification No. Referred above, the works comprise construction of Street Lighting, Located at Negele Borena on Different Part of City Administration, the details work of construction are shown on the Drawings and bidding document.
  3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the PP Directive of Federal and Regional procurement June, 2010 Edition and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined on the Guideline,
  4. Certificate of registration from Concerned the ministry or corresponding Regional Bureau with category EMC-4 and above renewed for year 2020/21 or 2013 EFY able to submit Tax clearance certificate and VAT registration.
  5. To Qualify for the award of contract the bidder is required to fulfill the minimum qualification criteria’s which are a General Experience of five years, a particular experience of performing at least three work of similar nature, and a minimum average annual turnover as specified on EOC.
  6. Bidders shall submit two envelopes, “Technical document and bid security” in one envelope and “Financial Bid” separately in another envelope and should be sealed in an outer envelope
  7. Evaluation is to be carried out in two steps, Technical document” first and financial bids of qualified bidders next.
  8. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at City Finance and Economic cooperative Office and UIIDP section at address below.
  9. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchase by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 300 (three hundred Birr).
  10. A pre- Bid meeting will be conducted in the presence of bidders or their Authorized representatives who choose to attend at the date and place specified on Bid data Sheet of Bidding document.
  11.  Bid must be delivered to City Finance and Economic Cooperative Office following 31 consecutive days starting the day of invitation to bid posted on Oct. 28, 2020 on newspaper and the bid closed on Nov. 27, 2020 at 10:00 AM and Opened on Nov. 27, 2020 at 10:30 AM on the same day at address below, exact date is mentioned on Bid data Sheet.
  12. A bid must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 60,000.00 (sixty thousand) in the form of only CPO. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted and late bids will be rejected.

የማስታወቂያ ቁጥር ብ/ግ/ጨ /01/2013

የኢትዮጵያ ቡናና ሻይ ባለሥልጣን በዋናው መ/ቤት የሕንፃ ግራውንድ ውስጥ የሚጠራቀመውን ፍሳሽ ለማስወገድ በዘርፉ የተሰማሩትን በደረጃ 7 እና ከዚያ በላይ በGC፤ WC እና BC የሆናችሁትን በብሄራዊ ግልፅ ጨረታ የግዥ ዘዴ አወዳድሮ ማሠራት ይፈልጋል፡፡

በዚህ ጨረታ ላይ በመሳተፍ የምትፈልጉ ድርጅቶች

1) The Sunshine Construction Plc. has entered into a Contract Agreement with the Ethiopian Roads Authority for the Construction works of Debre Birhan-Ankober Road Upgrading Project. New road alignment has been proposed and detailed geotechnical investigation was recommended prior to any construction activity due to the nature of the area, which should be Sub-Contracted to the Specialty Sub-Contractor who have sufficient work experience ‘in the areas of geotechnical investigation and related fields.

2) Pursuant to the signed Contract Agreement, Sunshine Construction Plc. now invites eligible bidders to submit a sealed bid for providing the necessary Equipment’s, labor, and material for the geotechnical investigation work for the new road alignment section on the above-mentioned road project (i.e. Debre Birhan-Ankober Road Upgrading Project).

3) The interested bidders can obtain Terms of Reference prepared in Contract language (i.e. English) from the Sunshine Construction Plc. Head office, Contract Administration Department.

4) Bidders shall present a copy of their:

i. Certificate of Registration from the concerned the government body in such areas of Specialization (i.e. Drilling and Geotechnical Investigation work).

ii. Renewed Trade License for the year 2012 E.C.

iii. Tax clearance certificate, which states that bidders can participate in any public tender valid at the bid submission date and VAT Registration certificate.

NOTICE OF INVITATION TO BIDS FOR ROAD MARKING WORK

  1. FAL General Contractor has signed contract agreement with Addis Ababa City Roads Authority for the construction works of Package 34 Road Project, Lot 1: Bole Bulbula Quarry Entrance -Wereda 12 Intersection-Bulbula 40/60 Condominium Road Project and Package 9 Road Projects; Bole Ayat Site 1, 2, 3, 4 and Ayat Meri Site 4 Condominiums Housing Road Construction Projects (herein after called “the Projects”). FAL General Contractor intends to sublet road marking works of the projects to eligible bidders, experienced in road marking work, to ensure completion of road marking works within short time as per the requirements of the contracts.
  2. The projects are located in Addis Ababa, around Bole Bulbula 40/60 condominium housing and around Ayat 40/60 condominium sites. The work under this bid consists of thermoplastic road marking work for the projects including provision of all materials, plant (equipment), labor and other incidentals necessary for road marking work as per the Specifications of the projects. The period of road marking work for each project is 15 calendar days.
  3. FAL General Contractor now invites experienced eligible bidders in road marking work, which fulfill the following requirements, to submit sealed bids for road marking work mentioned in item(2):

The bidders shall have relevant experience in road marking work and have a certificate of registration from Ministry of Works and Urban Development renewed for 2013 E.C. and other appropriate documentary evidences demonstrating the bidder’s compliance which shall include:-

  • (I) Its trading license renewed for 2013 E.C;
  • (ii) Its tax clearance certificate valid at least at bid submission date that permits the bidder to participate in any public tender, and VAT registration certificate; and
  • (iii) Registration as supplier in the list of the mandated public body, i.e. Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency (PPPAA)

4. Bidding will be conducted through the Local Competitive Bidding (LCB) procedure, specified in the bidding documents, and is open to all eligible bidders. The detail qualification criteria are stated in the bidding document.

5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents from FAL General Contractor at the address given below, from 8:30AM to 12:00 AM and 2:00PM to 5:00 PM from Mondays to Fridays and 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday local time. A complete set of the bidding documents in English may be obtained by interested bidders on submission of a written application and presentation of the documents mentioned under item (3) above to the address below, effective as of October 29, 2020.

6. Bidders shall submit two envelopes, “Qualification Application & Bid Security” in one envelope and “Financial Bid” in the other envelope, the two envelopes shall be sealed in an outer envelope separately for each project. Bidders shall submit separate Bids for the two projects. Bidders shall submit one original and two copies of Technical and Financial Bids. Both Technical and Financial Bids shall be opened on the same day in the presence of bidders and financial bids will not be read out and the Contractor has the right for further negotiations with bidders, if necessary, on financial offers.

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on/before November 10, 2020 at 2:30 P.M. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ETB 20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Birr) in the form of CPO. Bids not accompanied by bid security shall be rejected from further evaluation.   7. Only financial offers of those bide who score the minimum qualifying point, 50% (Fifty Percent) and above on the technical qualification will be eligible. The financial offers of the bidders who have scored less than the minimum passing point in technical qualification will be returned unopened.
  8. The client shall address the financial opening date and time to the bidders by notice board or through email or via phone call. From eligible contractors, the least price will be selected for work after detail financial analyses based on engineering estimation and weight of average bidders estimation
  9. Any attempt of submission of forged (false) document and /or indication of financial offer on the qualification document shall result in rejection of the bid.
