INVITATION FOR BID

Water, Education Economic empowerment and Medical care Alliance (WEEMA) international now invites all contracts of category WWC/GC class 6 and above with renewed license valid for the year 2020 G.C or 2013 E.C for providing the necessary labor, Material, Equipment and service for the construction of Mudula and Wissisa WASH project at Sigazo kebele of Tembaro Woreda, Kembata Tembaro zone, SNNPR.

Hence, if your firm has valid license for the current year, you can obtain a complete set of bidding document from the head office of WEEMA international finance department, Addis Ababa up on submission of legal document and upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 100.00 /one hundred Birr/ within 7 (seven) consecutive working days starting from the date of the advertisement of the bid on reporter newspaper. The office is located 500 meter walking distance from back entrance of Bole sub-city administration building and in front of lion security.   1. Bidders must submit the technical and financial document separately. The technical and financial documents should have one original and one copy for each, clearly marked “ORIGINAL” and “COPY”. Each envelope shall be stamped and sealed. In the event of any discrepancy between them the original will prevail.
  2. CPO not less than 1% of the bid amount should be submitted with Technical Original document,
  3. The dead line of bid (both technical and financial offers independently) submission shall be on or before 3:00 pm of 7th working day from the date of the advertisement of the bid.
  4. The original and copy of the technical as well as financial document shall be sealed as per the requirements indicated in the data sheet
  5. In preparing the bid document bidders are expected to visit the area of the construction to have enough understanding about construction material and topography by own expense.
  6. Only qualification document will be opened at 3:45 pm of 7th working day from the date of the advertisement of the bid at the head office of WEEMA International. If the 7th date will not be working day the opening will held at the next working day in the same venue and time.
  7. Only financial offers of those bide who score the minimum qualifying point, 50% (Fifty Percent) and above on the technical qualification will be eligible. The financial offers of the bidders who have scored less than the minimum passing point in technical qualification will be returned unopened.
  8. The client shall address the financial opening date and time to the bidders by notice board or through email or via phone call. From eligible contractors, the least price will be selected for work after detail financial analyses based on engineering estimation and weight of average bidders estimation
  9. Any attempt of submission of forged (false) document and /or indication of financial offer on the qualification document shall result in rejection of the bid.

Interested bidders shall submit the following evidence: The bidders shall have a certificate of competency from Oromia Construction Bureau or Ministry of Federal Construction with Category: BC-5/GC-5 and above renewed for the bidding period and other appropriate documentary evidence demonstrating the bidder’s compliance,

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents, including a complete set of Engineering Drawings which is necessary for bidding purposes, at the address given below during office working hours. Procurement for the Contraction of Urban Infrastructure in the City The federal democratic republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of urban institutional and infrastructure development projects (UIIDP).   1.  The City Administration now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision and construction of projects listed above

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible GC/WWC/RC bidders of category IV (4)/111(3)/111(3) respectively & above. they are required to submit a business license renewed for the current year (2013), VAT registration certificate, and taxpayer registration certificate (TIN) from a legally authorized body to do so.

Right to play works in over 20 countries in Africa, Asia, Middle East and in Latin America.

Right To Play (RTP) Ethiopia invites all interested and eligible constructors to bid for Rehabilitation of four football fields at Bambasi, Tsore and Sherkole Refugee Camps in Benishangul Gumuz Region. The construction is expected to commence immediately and completed within 20 days. The bid is separated in to two lots as follows:

  •  Lot 1- Rehabilitation of football field at Bambassi and Sherkole refugee primary schools
  • Lot 2- A Football Field at Tsore Refugee School and Spectator Seats at Kibur Amsa

Guidelines

1. Bidders should have of

  • Construction License GC/BC-7 and above valid for 2012 E.C.
  • Renewed construction and trade license for the year 2012 E.C
  • VAT Registration Certificates
  • must provide TAX clearance that demonstrate eligibility to participate for a bid in 2013 E.C

4. A separate Technical and Financial Proposal should be submitted both having One Original and copies in a waxed sealed and stamped envelopes to the RIGHT TO PLAY Office in Addis Ababa not later than October 26, 2020 at 2:30PM.

5. Bid will be closed at 2:30 PM on October 26, 2020 and will be opened at 9:00PM on October 26, 2020 at the presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives who are allowed to attend the session at Right To Play’s Country Office at Addis Ababa.

6. Late bids will be automatically rejected.

NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR BIDS

1. FAL General Contractor has entered a contract agreement with the Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA) for construction works of Debre Markos-Debre Elias-kuch Design and Build Road Project, Lot 1: Debre Markos-Debre Elias-Temcha (Km 0+000-75+0000) and 5.9km Chemit Spur.

2. Pursuant to the requirements of the contract, FAL General Contractor intends to sublet part of the permanent works. Eligible bidders are invited to submit a sealed bid for providing the necessary labor, material, and equipment for execution of part of the permanent works including earthworks, drainage and pavement works (i.e clearing & grubbing, earthworks, drainage structures and sub-base construction) of the project.

3. Interested bidders shall have a category of GC-5/RC-5 to GC-1/ RC-1 inclusive construction grades.

4. FAL General Contractor now invites eligible bidders, which fulfill the following requirements, to submit sealed bids for geotechnical investigation works of two bridges.

a) Interested bidders shall submit the following legal documents along with their qualification documents;

(i) Trading license renewed for 2013 EFY in construction Works;

(ii) Tax clearance certificate, which states that the bidder can participate in any public tender, valid at bid submission date, VAT and TIN registration certificates;

(iii) Registration as a supplier in the list of the mandated public body, i.e Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency (PPPAA).

(iv) Bidders who fail to provide valid documents mentioned under 4(i), (ii), (iii) above with its qualification document will be rejected from further evaluation.

b) Interested bidders shall also submit the following documents justifying their experiences along with their qualification documents;

(i) Bidders shall provide company profile, including professionals, past work experience in similar works, and testimonies for the same if any.

5. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure, specified a the bidding documents, and is open to all eligible bidders. Detail qualification criteria are stated in the bidding document.

6. Interested and eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at FAL General Contractor at the address given below, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM from Mondays to Fridays and 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturday local time. A complete set of the bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application and presentation of the documents mentioned under item (4) above to the address below, effective as of 26th October 2020G.C.

7. Bidders shall submit two envelopes, “Qualification Application & Bid Security” in one envelope and “Financial Bid” in the other envelope, the two envelopes shall be sealed in an outer envelope. Bidders shall submit one original and two copies of Technical and Financial Bids. Both Technical and Financial Bids shall be opened on the same day in the presence of bidders and Financial bids will not be read out for confidential purposes and the Contractor has the right for further negotiations with bidders, if any, on financial offers.

8. Bids must be delivered to the address below on/before November 06, 2020 at 2:30 P.M. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00 (ETB Five Hundred). Bidders are required to attach with their application, a copy of their renewed trade license, MOWIE work permit, VAT certificate, Tax clearance and TIN.

1. The Government of Ethiopia has received loan from IDA towards the cost of Projects under OWNP Phase II and part of the funds cover eligible payments under the contract for drilling and construction of water wells of water supply projects.

2. Now, The Oromia Regional National State Bureau of Water and Energy Resource Development invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the drilling & construction of 20 Deep Water Wells of water supply projects in different woredas/aanaa’s.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) as specified in the World Bank Guidelines, procurement of Works, and is open to all bidders from eligible bidders’ countries in the Guidelines.

4. Award will be decided on the presence of drilling machines and drilling crew on a lot base. Bidders may bid for one or more lots. However, no bidder will be awarded more than 1(one) lot for a single drilling rig and crew.

5.
