INVITATION TO BID

To: ALL CONTRACTORS OF CATEGORY GC-4/BC-3& ABOVE WITH VALID LICENSE FOR THE CURRENT YEAR.

1. 2. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open National Tendering Procedures and is open to all eligible consultants.
3. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from Madda Walabu University and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7(a) in working days from Monday to Friday 2:30-6:00 & 7:00-11:00 local time.
4. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased as by interested bidders as of the first announcement date of the bid on Newspaper up to the bid closing date and time at the address given below and upon the presentation of the document of a written application, VAT registration certificate, Professional Certificate, Trade License & Bid participation supporting letter at the address below at 7(b) & upon payment of a non-refundable fee.
5. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before 10:00 am hrs. Before the 21“ day at 4:00 local time at office hours counted from the bid announcement date at Madda Walabu University-Main Campus Procurement Unit office/first floor. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Ethiopian Birr payable at first demand. Bids will be opened in the presence of the consultants’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 7(d) at 4:30 am hrs.
6. a) Documents can be inspected at Madda Walabu University-Main Campus Procurement Unit office/first floor.

• c). Bids must be delivered to: before the 21st day at 4:00 local time at office hours counted from the bid announcement date at Madda Walabu University-Main Campus Procurement Unit office/first floor.
• d). Address of Bid Opening at Madda Walabu University-Main Campus Procurement Unit office/first floor.
• e). The consultant shall seal the Original, bid security and all copies of the bid in five inner envelops i.e. (Technical proposal, Financial Offer & Bid security) and one outer envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes as “ORIGINAL” and “COPIES” both for the “The Technical proposal” and “Financial Offer” and signed & sealed Standard Bidding Document (SBD) must be returned with other tender documents. Failure to do so will result in automatic rejection from the tender.
• f). The employer has the right to reject any or all bids.
