1. The Amhara National Regional State Water, Irrigation and Energy Development Bureau through the Water Development Commission (WDC) has received financing from the Government of Ethiopia toward the cost of the Climate Resilient WASH (CR-WASH) projects and intends to apply part of the proceeds. Toward payments under the contract for civil works construction, supply and installation of pipes, fittings and Electromechanical works for water supply projects in Amhara Region.
2. The Amhara National Regional State Water, Irrigation and Energy Development Bureau now invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders with work licenses in waterworks construction (WWC) for the Civil Works Construction, Supply, and Installation of Pipes, Fittings, and Electro-Mechanical Works for the following water supply projects.

3. Bidding will be conducted through a National Competitive Bidding (NCB) for each project separately in accordance with the procedures of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Standard Bidding Documents for procurement of works and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application directly from the Water, Irrigation and Energy Development Bureau, Finance and Property Administration Directorate, room no.84, upon payment of a nonrefundable fee Birr 300/ three hundred birr for each project.
5. Each Bid with Respective bid Security, must be delivered to Amhara National Regional State, Water, Irrigation and Energy Development Bureau, Water Schemes Construction Input Supply Directorate, Floor/Room number: One WaSH Building /08, Bahir Dar, before 9:00 a.m. for Serial No. 01 & 02 and 2:00 p.m. for Serial No. 03 17 December 2020; and Bids shall be opened at 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on the same date in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives who wish to attend respectively. Electronic Bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids shall be rejected.
6. Bids must be accompanied by the amount of bid security as stated in the table above in the form of Bank Guarantee or CPO with a validity period not less than 120 days +28 days separately for each project.
7. Bidders are required to submit copies of all eligible documents and licenses which are renewed for the year 2012/2013 E.C.
8. The Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of the bid.
