INVITATION FOR BID
- Dambi Dollo University have approved the budget for the construction LOT-1 Auditorium, LOT Teachers Residence, LOT-3 Decentralized administration, LOT-4 CLINIC and LOT-5 General store blocks at Dambi Dello University Campus.
- Now Dambi Dollo University invites wax scaled from all eligible bidders to all national or international GC1/BC 1 for Lot-1 Auditorium (For Foreign Bidders issued by their country of establishment. The public body reserves the right to confirm the equivalency of the category with GC/BC 1.) block, GC-4/BC-3 or Above POI’ Teachers Residence block and GC-6/BC-5 or above for Lot-3,4 and 5 that shall submit certificate of registration front ministry of Urban development, housing and construction that valid for the current budget year (2013 E.C or 2020/2021 G.C) and who have renewed their trade license for the current facial year have VAT registration, have Tin Number Tax clearance during the bidding period from concerned government body.
- Bidding, documents can be purchased from Dambi Dello University or lisson of the university from Addis Ababa shiro meda (in front of American Embassy) for non-refundable 1000.00(one thousand Birr) at working hours starting from 4/07/2013 .E.C and mode of payment is in bank transfer and the bank slip is submitted.
- Bid must be in companied bid security of Birr 500,000.00(Five hundred thousand) for lot-1 and 100,000.00( one hundred thousand) for Lot-2,3,4 and 5. The bid security can in form of CPO or Unconditional bank guarantee and shall be delivered to the university in the original technical documents or in wax sealed separately. ‘the envelopes of the bid security shall be signed by the bidder.
- The bid security that’s submitted by the bidder have to have the exact name the employer ,validity period and the exact name of the lot that the bidder participated on. Failure of doing so makes automatic rejection from the bid.
- One bidder can participate on one lots only
- Contractor that’s working in the Dambi Dello university whose both physical and financial progress is <70% (Less than seventy percent) is not participate on this bids.
- Submittal of any forged technical document by the bidder proven would entail serious criminal accountability and the bid security could be fortified
- Technical and financial document must be prepared in original and copy in a properly signed and stamped, separately wax scaled clearly marking “Original” and “copy”
- All the original and technical document shall be put in bigger outer envelopes and it has to be signed, stamped and sealed.
- Late bid will be automatically rejected
- The dead line for the submission is 24/7/2013 E.C for Lot-2,3,4 and 5 and 18/5/2013 E.C for lot-1
- The bid is opened on Saturday 25/7/2013 E.C at 3.00 AM local time for Lot 2,3,4 and 5 and Tuesday 19/8/2013 3.00 AM local time for Lot-1 at Dambi Dollo University.
- The results of the financial evaluation shall be notified with an internal notice board.
- Misplacing of documents would be a cause for rejection of the bid document.
- Completion time for lot- 1 is 600 calendar days, calendar 360 days for lot-2 and lot-3,180 calendar days for lot-4 and 5
